Hello there
I'm looking fr people with ALTERA DE1 boards who have the new minimigtg68 v2.0 working on their DE1 boards with ZENTEL SDRAM: it's the newer version on the board, after the PSC RAM.
I've only heard of one person that has V2.0 working in his DE1 with ZENTEL, and I've tried the same SOF/POF files as him with no luck at all.
The error I get is "UNSUPPORTED KICK ROM FILE SIZE!!" twice on the blue bootloader screen. It hangs there, after trying to read the SD CARD.
Could it be an SDRAM issue? I suspect it is.
I've tried several cards in FAT16 format, with various sector sizes: Kingston 2GB, Panasonic 1GB and INVES 512MB.
I've formatted them with SDFORMATTER by Panasonic, and I?ve also tried the Windows and MAC OSX formar utilities.
The files MENUE.SYS and KICK.ROM (from KICKSTART 1.3) are also on the cards I try.
Please, I need ideas and suggestions to try, as I'm desesperated trying this. V12e of the minimigtg68 has been the only version working for me on this ZENTEL Altera DE1.
I don't even know if it's a SDRAM timing issue (wich I can't solve since I don't know VHDL), or should I keep trying with more and more SD cards....Help!
